« SOS Stage » was launched by « la fédération nationale des Maisons des Potes » and is supported by the Secretary State for Youth which is today under the authority of the Minister of National Education. The support granted by Mrs Jeannette Bougrab, Secretary State for Youth and associations to Luc CHATEL, Minister of National Education, is founded on a convergence of analyses on an unfair system that gives the responsibility to students to find themselves the place of their training course. Here are some excerpts from the statement of the Minister broadcasted on December 11 on the Parliament channel.

« Training course is a true discrimination. It is a sort of “insider knowledge”. To solve this problem, it is necessary to create training course data banks. It has to be the job of schools and universities to find the training courses because, in general, there is a paradox.

The training course is very often a required condition to get the diploma. The problem is that young people are asked to find themselves their training course location. At the age of 15, 16 or 17, you have no network yet!
