Bollardière, le général qui s’est rebellé contre la torture

Le Général Jacques Pâris Bollardière est le premier officier français à avoir ouvertement condamné la torture qui sévissait durant la guerre d’Algérie. Il a exigé en 1957 d’être relevé de ses fonctions, refusant d’appliquer des méthodes qu’il estimait contraire aux valeurs de la France.

Un rebelle. Il l’a été toute sa vie pour défendre la dignité humaine. Désobéir aux ordres qu’il ne cautionnait pas était une habitude chez le général Jacques Pâris Bollardière.
